Hidcote in April

An English country garden in spring.

A huge wysteria. The trunk is by the Ladies loo, and the branches cover this garden machinery shed.

  1. Stunning. What are the little bright green plants surrounding the bed of what look like purple hyacynths?

Sally, I'm afraid I can't remember and the piccy isn't that clear is it? They look a bit like a golden euonymous to me. Stunning with the purple.

Hello Clare: We have a plan every year to visit every month but have never succeeded; there's always something new and lovely to see.
