Sketchbook finished

I've been making a sketchbook/journal to keep a record of my part in GALS, a guerrilla gardening group in my home town.  My time with gals has come to an end now, and I'm moving onto other things, so this will be a record of my work and my time and I'll put it into a box with the MBE we were given in 2012 by her Maj.

A lot of the pages are a bit plain so that you can actually read the printed text on emails etc, but I hope that the bits I've personalized the book with, might be interesting at some point in the future. Here's just a few of them.

    1. Well I am a bit of a gardener I'll admit. Not the sort that knows much about latin names and families but the sort that will get a spade and dig over a roundabout, or clip the hedges in the park..no worries! (I've done both btw!) People expect me to be a bit like a gardening guru, but I only know what I read and see on Gardeners World!! Litter picking, beer bottle recycling, graffiti removal, dog poo pick ups, (and human it has to be said. On one occasion we collected 6 bin bags of rubbish from behind a library in a small spot about 8 mtrs square - a lot of them were bottles full of wee - don't ask me what that was about) are more me really. But where we've worked, and tidied and planted, has bought a quiet joy to lots. Great stuff. Didn't know who Sue Kreitzman was so googled. She might be a candidate for the mag that's for sure. Thanks for that!! And thank you also for your kind words old thing - very kind x

    1. Thanks IB, I've been doing it for a while so it's gradually been building. Not a great work of art but a nice memory to keep, as obviously all the original papers have been handed on.
