Free Tickets to Festival of Quilts!

Things are cranking up here at Through Our Hands, as the last day to see The Liberated Quilt is tomorrow.  The Gallery tell us they've had a very busy week, and there's still time to see the exhibition tomorrow Saturday 25th July.  Why not make a day out and see some stunning work and have a day at one of the three nearby National Trust houses?  It won't matter if it's sunny or shiny, you're sure to have a great time!

This exhibition will then be taken down and sent home to the artists - it won't be seen anywhere else.  We have a new exhibition for you at Festival of Quilts, and it's going to be amazing!

All will look normal...but you'll have to keep watching and things will happen before your eyes! Wowzer.

We'll also be launching our new book which will be absolutely packed with gorgeousness.

Anyway, if you fancy going and joining us and the other amazing galleries, shows etc., then we have some tickets to give away.  Not just two either - a mighty handful, so why try and win a ticket or two, and pop over to our Facebook page - leave a simple message and we'll pick the winners at random.

Good luck

Portrait in parts

For this portrait I'm starting off by using some stencils and stamps to make a background. I especially like the stencil with the jumble...
